Today Tuto4you was able to test the chip Wiikey thanks to our merger partner FlashREPARATION-Lyon.com . The chip (which aims to return to play on wii with copied games) is compatible with all Wii, whether white or black. The Wiikey fusion is also compatible with the Wii having a drive D3 and D4-2 (for the SD only). Also this chip is cheap compared to its big sisters (and other wode): € 39 for 79 against the wode!

- I-Disassembling your Wii:
First, unplug your wii and then open it as explained in the video below.
_
- II-Installation of the chip:
1_ We assume that your wii is French, so you have to spend your wiikey a European. We must move the jumper number 1 "on":
FYI: I've tested 10 chip wiikey merger, on a chip of the legs of the jumper were poorly welded. What made the jumpers inoperative, ensure a good check on the status of those welds and redo them if needed (you can also ask that you return your chip).
2_ install your Fusion as in the diagram below.
> Connect the base of the console connector "host" of the wiikey.
> Connect the DVD player to the console connector "dvd" of the chip.
> Connect the SD card reader connector "nd" of the chip.
3_ Paste the SD card reader at this location (preferably), then plug the water "SD" before closing the small box.
4_ Close your wii properly (I advise you to test the chip before closing)
Prepare the water of the SD reader in this way:
Place the Fusion as below:
then,
Finally, place the sheet of the SD slot as shown below:
You can close your Wii entirely.

- III-Preparation of the SD card:
_Téléchargez Software WBFS Manager , then install.
_Téléchargez A backup Wii (see this tutorial )
_Branchez Your SD card to your computer, run the software.
_Séléctionnez The letter your USB disk, then click Start: 
_A When done, click "load disk" 
_Faites Drag your newly downloaded ISO in the right part of the software: 
Wait, how long the software tests your iso.
_Ensuite, Click "Add to Reader" to copy your game on the USB drive. 
_Patientez 
_Constatez The game been copied to your removable drive:
Everything is ok
_
- IV-Playing with a dvd burned (except for chipsets d3-2 / d4):
1_ Burn your backup was using this tutorial: here
2_ Remove the SD card reader for the Merger
3_ Insert it into the console, then run as your backup as if it was an original game.
- V-Play a game found on the SD card:
1_ Prepare your card as seen above
2_ Insert the drive in the Fusion, then start your wii.
3_ Nothing happens that is normal, then press the eject button 3 times. You will see the sign appear in the GameCube games chain.
4_ Go there and start this game, then you fall on the wiikey utility merger.
Games on the sd card are automatically detected.
Navigate in the menu using the reset button (or was using a GameCube controller).
A short reset = menu navigation of the fusion wiikey.
Reset = Enable long to make a selection ...
5_ Select the desired backup by holding down the reset button.
6_ The console starts, go to the games or chain your backup will be loaded automatically.

- VI-The settings of the wiikey merger:
a: Disable or not the SD card reader of the merger.
b: Disregard the region Wii games.
c: Blocking updates.
d: Automatic start games inserted into the drive.
e: Do not take into account the region of Gamecube games.
f: Area games accepted.
g: Saving settings.
_
- VII-update its chip:
_ Get the update on the official website: Wiikey.cn
>> Direct link to version 1.4
_ Unpack the archive, and then pass the iso of the update on your SD card using WBFS Manager.
_ Run the utility of the chip, then select the update.
_ The console reboot, go back to the string of games, then restart the GameCube games.
_The Update is then performed. wait.
_ The wii will restart one last time after the update done. A message will appear:

I ordered a wiikey merger, however, some games do not pass. I wanted to update the wiikey fusion I have the gamecube channel but when I start it I do not have the wiikey menu on white background as to their support but a black screen written in green "Backup launcher0.2 "with buttons to press with a gamecube controller and when I pressed it crashes the wii. Also after installing the chip, update firmware to 1.4 I tested a game via the SD card:
The game is loaded on reboot, but when I run it, black screen, joystick disconnected, no reaction with the reset button (forced off by pressing power 5s).
I specify that the console works perfectly with the original games (non-backup)
I managed to run the game by downloading a new backup.
I got tested with several games so I think the problem come from that backup should be checked before download and watch as some are prepared to work with the chips.

It's been 3 SD cards and I always test the same result. There are probably mishandling I do. I start by formatting the SD card to FAT32 then I open WBFS MANAGER 4.0. I'll get the F drive and I click on Format. After that indicates that formatting is successfully held the WBFS drive is ready.
