Disabling troubleshooting / bug reports
Simple configuration
Also in the Change Settings window of the maintenance center, click the Settings link problem reports. When a problem occurs, such as the inability to connect to a network, Windows can help you find solutions.
By default, Windows will automatically search for solutions to any problems. But it can quickly become tedious, especially when you know a problem exists but, for some reason, you can solve it in x days.
4 options are available:
- Automatically search for solutions;
- Automatically check for solutions and send additional report data if necessary;
- Whenever a problem occurs, ask me before looking for solutions;
- Never check for solutions;
You decide whether you prefer to get help from Windows or the forum Protuts .

It is necessary to repeat these operations when reinstalling or updating the software.
A large number of software sends data and usage statistics in order to improve their products and services. But there is no guarantee that such data are not used for commercial purposes or otherwise. All this is sorely lacking transparency on the part of publishers. Note that this does not apply only to Windows but Mac OS X as shown in the last screenshot of Google Earth.
