In computing, a tutorial (in English tutorial) is a manual type tutoring, especially for information technology and to assist the novice user to train independently or in a software language programming. This is an educational tool that can be in the form of another software, a video, a text document or electronic paper, consist of detailed instructions step by step, most often in step .

The tutorial is a particular form of software documentation, and especially user document.

Anglicisms tutorial (recommended by organizations of French neologisms) is much more used, but there would be difficulties in the plural. The tutorial is plural, not tutorials tutorials.

It also uses the term tutorial, although it means a computer program rather didactic.
